It might even be the new way to give a presentation!
When you go into the app, it automatically opens up to where you can begin creating. All you have to do is swipe left or right to change who is texting and begin to create your story! When you begin to type, it starts to record what you are doing. So if you mess up or delete what you previously said, it will be on the video; until you are finished. You can click the bottom of the screen to edit and delete any text. You can also rewrite what you said on a certain text, and then that will appear on the video, so it looks clean and like you didn’t make any mistakes!
Yes, this app does have its limits, like when you finish your texting story, you can only create a video or a GIF and nothing really other than that. You can also expand the horizons on this app by purchasing extra effects. You can add a background picture and make your texting story look neat. I also love how you can edit your story to make it look very nice and not have it be a sloppy piece of work. You can name your stories which is useful to organize all of your progress. Once you have finished and edited your texting story, you can put the video or GIF into your camera roll, so it is easy to export from there. There is also an option where you can export the video that you just created from the app to other apps as well. This is also very useful because you don’t have to go back and forth between apps, you just have to click the export button, and done!
What also makes this app so realistic, is that you can use emojis. This gives the feel of an actual texting story. I don’t know about you, but emojis help me show my feelings when I text. When I was experimenting with this app, it was pretty easy to figure out the first time. This is pretty simple to use and easy to understand. Although the downsides are pretty minor, this is an app that I would recommend. This is something that I would recommend for teachers to use for students to make a project. It is fun and very easy to use and will engage kids in the project a little bit more. And it doesn’t even have to be for a project or anything of the sorts, you can just mess around with it all day long. Plus, this app doesn’t even need WiFi, so it can be used to pass by time on a long trip or when there is no available WiFi.
